Connectix Virtual Game Station is Back! By Joey Cooper "The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decided today to "reverse and remand" a Preliminary Injunction on sales of Connectix Virtual Game Station on all counts. Shipments of Connectix Virtual Game Station for Macintosh will begin immediately. Online sales at www.connectix.com began today and a Windows version will ship shortly..." So says a press release from Connectix! For those of you who don't remember, Connectix Virtual Game Station is a PlayStation emulator for G3 Macs. According to the press release, Connectix will also start shipping a Windows version of the Game Station. Before Sony brought this all into court last year, I was able to purchase the Game Station, and I have to say it's really a great product. I only own one game, Madden 99, but just for it buying the Game Station was worth it to me. I could actually play football on my iMac! Of course, the games industry on the Mac has been doing slightly better now and Madden 2000 is now available for the Mac OS. I don't want to be too biased towards Connectix, but the Game Station really is a great invention that expands the PlayStation platform.
