Can't get enough about the Mac on the web? You're in luck...

By MacMilitia.com Staff

Two new Mac-centric websites have opened their doors this week. Frequent MacMilitia.com reader Steve Salas has opened the virtual doors to MacCircuit.com, a website featuring daily Macintosh news, plus featuring specials like the "MacBabble" column, a discussion of the best and worst Mac rumors.

Each of MacCircuit.com's articles has a link on it so readers can voice their opinion. According to a release from Mr. Salas, "Basically, it's about discussing your view on the numerous topics that we are currently speaking about. Our site is simple, yet practical, and is easy to move through the pages."

The other new site is a neat little place called Appledale.com. An announcement reads, "[Appledale is] a unique collection of anecdotal stories, chronicling the people and companies involved in the Computer Industry."

The theme of Appledale.com revolves around a small, vibrant, country town with a rich history, colorful community members, and enigmatic ties to Apple. Each story or 'AppleTale' is written to explore this relationship, past and present, according to the site's founders.

Drawing their inspiration from Apple's colorful and sometimes controversial past, the writers have skillfully woven notable personalities and memorable events with the everyday rural life of an applegrow'n community. Adding to the charm, 'AppleTales' are written in a 'down home' country style, complete with colloquial spelling and grammar.

Appledale Editor Linden Coles refers to the site as a diversion from the large Mac news sites. He describes the content of Appledale.com as an informative, entertaining, and sometimes irreverent look at the computer industry.

-The MacMilitia.com Staff wishes both of these sites the best of luck.
