The Phillips Files #28
Mac Sites Quickie
by R.P. Phillips

Mac Madness is on the move.

Their new URL is http://home.earthlink.net/~stevenm/. I wish them continued success at their new home.

The New Mac Plaza (http://www.MacPlaza.net) is missing in action. It's a shame, I really liked their site. If anyone knows where they've gone, please, let me know.

And there seems to be an abundance of other Mac sites that haven't been updated in a long time; some weeks, others months. Has the increased popularity in Apple products caused disinterest in some of these long time enthusiasts?

New Apple related sites are popping up. Of the several recent Mac related sites that have popped up, I've found HolyMac (http://www.HolyMac.com) to be my favorite.

This is not to say that there are other new and great, or greater, Mac sites -- this is just to say that out of the most recent half dozen Mac sites that I've become aware of -- HolyMac has been my favorite (I excluded the MacParty site for competition for favorite because it has already been mentioned and previewed by this site. Basically, I feel, it is just an extension of this site.). If you know of other new Mac sites or soon to be introduced Mac sites, please, let me know. I really enjoy seeing new Mac oriented sites!

Yep, that's all. Quick -- wasn't it?

Thanks-
R.P. Phillips
