A "CAP & Dad" Review

Yes, this is another child's art creation program. It just has the Disney twist. Besides the tools you can see in the picture above, brushes, pencils, crayons, chalk, pen, paint bucket, spray paint, etc... there is also animated images, a learning area where you're taught to animate through interactive lessons, simple 3D effects and an animation area full of a large variety of Disney characters.

If you and/or your child(ren) like Disney and art, this is definitely a very good choice for creating and saving Disney oriented art as well as original creations.

This program came with the KB Gear Interactive's SketchBoard Studio I recently purchased and did not come in the Disney Magic Artist Studio box, which might be the reason for not being able to find an age range directly referring to this program. I tentatively put the age range at 3+ years old for basic use and 7+ years old for the advanced aspects of the program.

Most children I know enjoy a lot Disney characters and creating art. This is a good way to combine the two and provide them with hours of creating fun.

Pros:

Hours of Disney character oriented artistic fun and the interactive lessons are great - but for children 7+ years old.

Cons:

No specific age ranges listed on box or CD. Not fond of the "Flushing" to clear canvas.
